Dyson’s newest model, the V16 Piston Animal Vacuum Cleaner, has hit the Indian market. This new addition to the line of Dyson’s cleaners is expected to provide enhanced suction capability, improved hair entanglement removal, and better dust ejection.
This vacuum is powered by a 900W hyperdymium motor, providing up to 315 AW of suction. It includes the All Floor Cones Sense cleaner head, which will automatically adjust itself for varied floor surfaces.

Improved motor: The V16 Piston Animal comes with the latest motor from Dyson, i.e., the Hyperdymium 900W motor, which generates up to 315AW of suction power. According to the manufacturer, this motor is 50% more powerful than the earlier-generation Hyperdymium motor. Additionally, the Dyson Hyperdymium 900W motor is complemented by Dynamic Cyclone, which activates the additional five cyclones in Boost Mode to generate additional suction power.
Smart cleaner head: Another noteworthy improvement of the V16 Piston Animal is the All Floor Cones Sense cleaner head with the cone-shaped brush bar to avoid tangling with long hair. Moreover, this intelligent head is capable of detecting different types of floors and automatically adjusting suction power and brush speed based on the surface type.
The manufacturer claims that the all-floor cone cleaner head integrates the functions of the Digital Motorbar and Fluffy cleaner heads to conveniently switch between hard floors and carpets without changing the cleaner head.
Improved filtration and visibility of dust: The new vacuum comes with a five-stage HEPA filtration system to capture 99.99% of particles as small as 0.1 microns. There is also an LED light on the cleaner head to help with visibility of invisible dust.
Easier Dust Disposal: The V16 Piston Animal is equipped with Dyson’s newest CleanCompaktor bin, which compresses dust and dirt, allowing for a bin capable of holding up to three times more garbage. Moreover, the inner part of the bin has been redesigned in such a way that it wipes itself clean after being emptied.
Smart Connectivity: Dyson claims that this is the first vacuum cleaner in its India series capable of connecting with the MyDyson app. Users will be able to gain access to extra settings, get notifications about maintenance procedures, and receive instructions about cleaning and maintaining their device through the app.
Battery Life and Accessories: The maximum battery life of the V16 Piston Animal reaches up to 70 minutes of fade-free suction in Eco mode on hard surfaces. Additionally, a separate battery, which is interchangeable, is available for purchase. The vacuum cleaner is supplied with two additional tools: a crevice tool for reaching narrow spaces and edges, and a Hair Screw Tool 2.0 designed to remove and untangle long hair and pet hair.
