Xiaomi has expanded its smart home product lineup in India with the launch of its Mijia smart home brand, starting with a range of air purifiers. The company has introduced two new models, the Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6 and Mijia Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact, while also bringing back the Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Lite.
The new air purifiers are designed for different room sizes and user requirements, with the Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6 positioned as the premium model and the Mijia Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact aimed at smaller spaces such as bedrooms and study rooms.
The new Xiaomi air purifiers will be available in India from September 2, 2026, with prices starting at ₹7,999 and going up to ₹19,999.
Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6: Features and Specifications
This Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6 is the latest product by Xiaomi, and it is one of its top products in this series. It is made for bigger spaces, and it covers up to 940 sq. ft. in two air changes per hour.
It has a particle CADR of 443 m³/h and a formaldehyde CADR of 218 m³/h. The company says that it takes three and a half minutes to clean up the air of a 108 sq. ft. room.

This device comes with a 5-step purification system that utilises various filtration technologies, such as a HEPA filter, carbon filters for the removal of gaseous pollutants like formaldehyde, and UV-C lights and negative ion technology.
The other unique feature of this purifier is its colour display screen that indicates the real-time air quality parameters such as PM2.5, PM1 particles, temperature, and humidity.
The purifier can be controlled via remote through the Xiaomi Home application or voice assistants such as Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. The sleep mode keeps the noise levels at around 32 dB(A).
Mijia Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact: Features and Specifications
The Mijia Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact caters to people who wish to use it in small spaces such as bedrooms, nurseries, and study rooms. This device is made for spaces larger than 400 sq. ft., with emphasis being placed on its compact design and efficient purification capabilities.
The product includes a 3-in-1 filter system, which Xiaomi states has the ability to remove 99.97% of particles ranging down to 0.3 microns. It is certified by TÜV Rheinland Allergy Care.

The purifier features a four-colour air quality detector that enables users to know instantly about the state of their indoor air. The device offers several modes, such as Auto Mode, Sleep Mode, and Manual Mode.
At 2.2 kg, the purifier is portable. When in Sleep Mode, it runs at 20 dB when the display is switched off.
Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Lite Returns to India
In addition to the two new Mijia variants, Xiaomi has also brought back the Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Lite to India.
It has a particle CADR of up to 360 m³/h and can clean an area ranging from 269 sq. ft. to 463 sq. ft. It uses a 3-stage purification system that includes:

- Efficiency Filter
- Activated Carbon Filter
The Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Lite is also certified by TÜV Rheinland Allergy Care and has real-time air quality monitoring capability via the Xiaomi Home app.
