Xiaomi has unveiled its foldable phone, the Xiaomi 18 Fold, which will be launched later this month at IFA 2026. This is going to be the first Xiaomi phone to come with the company’s next-generation in-house chip.
In addition to the foldable phone, Xiaomi introduced 380 other products and innovations at IFA 2026, such as its smart home system, AI, electric vehicles, and the CyberOne robot.
Xiaomi 18 Fold Showcased at IFA 2026
In 2026, Xiaomi showcased the Xiaomi 18 Fold with the new red colour version at the International Fair. It is clear that the Xiaomi foldable phone will become the first Xiaomi gadget that uses the XRING O3 chip.
This device has a three-rear camera system and will go on sale in China on September 7, together with the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max.
Xiaomi Showcases 380 Products and Technologies
Xiaomi launched 380 products in an area of 3,300 square metres during IFA 2026. Xiaomi had categorised its product launch into three segments:

Xiaomi Highlights Mijia Smart Home Ecosystem
Xiaomi also unveiled its Mijia smart home system at the event and revealed that the Mijia system would grow extensively in Europe.

Xiaomi also highlighted some of its recent advancements in AI technology, such as MiMo-V2.5-Pro, Xiaomi Miloco, and Xiaomi Miclaw, as well as its HyperOS.
Xiaomi Showcases CyberOne Robot and Electric Vehicle Concepts
IFA 2026 was used by the company to introduce its CyberOne humanoid robot within its AI technologies showcase.
Xiaomi unveiled Vision Gran Turismo and the new-generation Xiaomi SU7 and Xiaomi SU7 Ultra electric vehicles at the auto section.
According to Xiaomi, the company has been able to deliver more than 700,000 vehicles in mainland China, beginning in March 2024. The company also disclosed its intention to launch Xiaomi Auto in Europe, specifically in Germany, in 2027.
Xiaomi Plans EUR 24 Billion R&D Investment
Xiaomi revealed that its global research and development expenditure is forecasted to surpass EUR 24 billion between 2026 and 2030.
