The Chinese phone maker OnePlus is adding more budget smartphones to the Indian market by launching the OnePlus N6 Lite in the near future. Recently, the company launched the new series of phones known as the N series, which replaced the earlier Nord series and became their new range of budget-friendly smartphones. At present, the range consists of the OnePlus N6 and OnePlus N6x.
Now, it has been confirmed that the company will launch another smartphone in the N6 series, named OnePlus N6 Lite. Ahead of its official launch, the company is giving some hints about the design and colours of this upcoming device. According to some reports, the OnePlus N6 Lite can be seen as the replacement for the OnePlus N6s.
OnePlus N6 Lite Design and Colour Options Teased
OnePlus N6 Lite’s dedicated microsite has been refreshed, and the design and colour choices of the upcoming budget smartphone have been unveiled. The upcoming device has been teased in black and green colours.
The smartphone seems to have a flat back with a square camera unit mounted on the upper-left part of the device. The rear camera housing features two holes that might be indicative of a dual-camera system.
Nevertheless, considering the fact that the OnePlus N6 Lite will be a budget smartphone, it is likely to have a single rear camera alongside a light sensor. There is also the placement of power and volume keys on the right side of the device, whereas the left side seems to have no keys whatsoever.
The upcoming OnePlus N series smartphone is expected to feature a flat plastic mid-frame with a metallic-looking finish.
OnePlus N6 Lite India Launch Details
The OnePlus N6 Lite India launch is expected soon, and the smartphone is confirmed to be available for purchase through Amazon. However, the company has not yet revealed the exact launch date, specifications, features, or pricing details.
The new smartphone will be the brand’s least expensive device in India, succeeding the OnePlus N6x.
OnePlus N6x Specifications and Price Details
The OnePlus N6x has been unveiled in India on July 31st, at a starting price point of Rs. 18,999 for the basic version that comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
The device has a 6.8-inch HD+ LCD screen with a resolution of 720 x 1570 pixels. It offers a 120Hz refresh rate, 254 ppi pixel density, and peak brightness of 900 nits.
The OnePlus N6x packs the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex SoC in terms of internal specifications. There is a 7,000 mAh battery pack that supports 15W wired fast charging technology.
With the OnePlus N6 Lite, the brand seems to be further consolidating its offerings in the budget smartphone segment of India. Specifications and prices are likely to be revealed in the coming days.
