It has been confirmed by Mivi that its first-ever smartphone from India will be named the Mivi One 5G. The company had already started hinting at the launch of its first smartphone, and now the smartphone has been confirmed to launch on Flipkart.
From the name itself, one can get to know that the smartphone will have 5G connectivity. Details regarding the chipset of the phone have also been hinted at by the company, as it has been confirmed that the Mivi One 5G will come equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 5G chipset.
Mivi One 5G India Launch Confirmed Soon
Flipkart is now up and running with a special microsite for the Mivi One 5G, which offers us the first glimpses of what the phone looks like and what colour choices it comes in.
According to the information given on the Flipkart website, the phone will have “5G Connectivity” and use the “Qualcomm Snapdragon 5G Chipset”. The smartphone has been branded as “Pretty Powerful”, and the phone is seen in the green colour option with rounded edges.
It is expected that the company will disclose more information about the smartphone in the upcoming days, including its specs, pricing, and launch date. As per the latest reports, the Mivi One 5G in India might be priced under Rs. 15,000 segment.
Mivi One 5G Marks Brand’s Entry Into the Smartphone Market
Mivi already has a lineup of earphones, soundbars, Bluetooth speakers, home theatre systems, and other audio devices in its product range. With the release of the Mivi One 5G smartphone, the Hyderabad-based consumer technology brand will debut in the smartphone segment for the very first time.
This new release will help put Mivi on a list of Indian consumer electronics brands making forays into the smartphone segment. Wearable device brand Fire-Boltt became one of those when it recently launched two of its smartphone offerings, namely Boltt Ace and Boltt Evo, at the starting price points of Rs. 13,999 and Rs. 10,999, respectively.
Consumer electronics brand Philips also released one of their smartphone offerings, the S7221 5G, in India at a starting price point of Rs. 20,499.
The new Mivi One 5G phone release will see the company entering the smartphone segment with a product offering.
