According to some reports, there was an anticipated rise in the pricing of Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series by up to Rs. 20,000 in India. This expected price hike had reportedly been projected for all three variants of the phone, based on the RAM and internal storage capacity.
But sources say that it looks like there won’t be any rise in prices anytime soon. This is because the price hike for the Samsung Galaxy S26 series doesn’t seem to be implemented soon, in spite of some rumours suggesting otherwise.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Price Hike Details
As per tipster Abhishek Yadav on X, Samsung has hiked the prices of all variants of the Galaxy S26 series in India by Rs. 20,000. As per the tipster, these revised prices were expected to be effective from September 18 onwards.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 smartphone with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage was expected to sell at a price tag of Rs. 1,07,999, in contrast to its launch price of Rs. 87,999.
The Samsung Galaxy S26+ base model was expected to go up from Rs. 1,19,999 to Rs. 1,39,999. However, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage was expected to be priced at Rs. 1,59,999, whereas it was launched at Rs. 1,39,999.
However, the above-referenced hike in price is expected to be reflected in higher RAM and storage versions also.

This latest report comes after another one which said that the Galaxy S26 smartphone could get even more expensive by around Rs. 12,000 in the Indian market.
Tipster Sanju Choudhary had said that the Galaxy S26 smartphone, with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB internal storage, could get hiked to Rs. 99,999 from Rs. 87,999. Meanwhile, the variant with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB storage was expected to increase to Rs. 1,19,999 from Rs. 1,07,999.
As per reports at the time of writing this article, Samsung India’s official website had yet to update the prices. At present, all three Galaxy S26 smartphones are still priced at their launch prices. The Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Ultra were both available at launch prices, and the Galaxy S26+ was out of stock.
